Diary Entry

Our teacher, Pilar Pando, told us to write a diary entry (individual)  in connection with the story we had already read, An Eye for An Eye. The task is from the web side Lenguas Vivas where we had to do another activities. But this activities we have to do it in pairs or in groups, my group was: Valentina Re and Marcos Okecki.

3)Write a diary entry for Mary Banks as if you had just returned to your prison cell after
your interview with Sir Matthew. Narrate the events that took place from your
perspective. Include your feelings, impressions and future prospects.

Dear Diary,

I had just returned to my prison jail after my interview with Sir Matthew. I was highly strung and sensitive because he interrogated me with questions that made me feel uncomfortable with the situation. Sir Matthew knew I was responsible for my husband’s murder. So, I pretended to be in the hospital when my husband was dead, because he hited me, so I need to go to the hospital because I pretended to be blind. However, Sir Matthes did not believed my version of the story. I felt in hurry. My heart was beating fast every passing moment.

Nevertheless, while Sir. Matthew was interrogating me, he took his glass eye from the socket. I couldn’t resist the impact when the man extracted his eye from the socket. The reaction of my face was full of fright. Due to this, the lawyers realised that I wasn’t blind and that my case was manslaughter.

Lastly, I think I would be in jail for a couple of year and then I expect to be in total freedom so I can repair the damaged I had caused to my husband and my family.

Trabajo de Lengua

Este es nuestro trabajo de lengua que lo realizamos en clase.

Wilkilen es la pequeña hija de Dulkancellin y Shampalwe, nieta de Vieja Kush. Su madre fallesió donde luz a ella. Tiene vividas 5 lluvias, entonces, podemos deducir, que Wilkilen tiene cinco años. Es la más pequeña de sus hermanos y de la familia. Además, es una niña bella y hermosa como su madre, heredó de ella el don de la alegría. Tambien, tiene unas hermosas y delicadas trenzas.

2) La casa de las Estrellas era un palacio en el que los astrónomos se reunían. En el, interpretaban la magia y decidían sobre el destino de las tierras fértiles. En cuanto a su estructura, el lugar era grande y alto. Además, tiene diversos cuartos que disponían a distintos lugares. También posee un observatorio y su estructura se unía por escaleras casi infinitas, que cuyo rellano servía de acceso a una habitación. Se abría a una enorme sala vacía con pequeñas ventanas en las que se reflejan los matices de la tierra. A la vez, a cada paso se angostaba y se oscurecía. Aparecía el cielo detrás de pequeñas aberturas hechas en la roca. También, las paredes se enfrentaban contra la escalera cada vez más empinada.
